|Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Lu Kang's Remarks|
Q: According to Japanese media, some Japanese lawmakers visited the Yasukuni Shrine on the occasion of its spring festival. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe did not visit the shrine, but he sent a ritual offering to it. What is your comment?
A: China's position on the issue of Yasukuni Shrine is consistent and clear-cut. We urge the Japanese side to adopt a correct outlook on history, take concrete actions to face squarely and show remorse for history and properly handle the relevant issue.
